Replacement Keys These plastic key tops are brand new, and will get your vintage synth looking great! With the exception of the Top C note, all keys from octave to octave are identical, and all black keys are identical. In other words, a B note in the lowest octave uses the same key as a B note in any other octave. But the highest C note is different from the other C notes (see illustration below). If you do not know the note names, the illustration below shows the notes of a 3-octave keyboard, such as an Arp Axxe or Odyssey.
