Rubber contact strip for synthesizer keys, 12-note strip; this replacement strip is Roland part number 22185236A0. (If you need an 8-note strip, you can cut this to fit.) This rubber strip contains carbon contacts inside each "bubble". When a key is depressed, the key presses down on the bubble, and the carbon makes contact with the keyboard contact board.
