| Sequential Circuits vintage Prophet 10, modded for Rev 2 filter fatness!

At Syntaur�s showroom in New Braunfels, Texas, we often have synthesizers on hand that most people will never get a chance to see in person, much less play. So this Synthesizer Day (May 23, 2024), we are implementing a program to spread the sonic joy. As rare keyboards come and go at our shop, we will offer anyone the chance to book a PlayDate � a reserved 30-minute block of quality time to play, explore, sample, or even record a track with a rare vintage synth. And it�s all free! The action begins with a vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet 10, modified with a prototype REV -1 kit from Analogue Renaissance that gives the P10 the fatter SSM filters. Only about a thousand Prophet 10�s were made, and they all had CEM filter chips � similar to Rev 3 Prophet 5�s. This upgrade gives our P10 the SSM chips of the highly-desirable Rev 2 Prophet 5�s. Having a 30-minute PlayDate with a rare synth can be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But what if you could use ALL of the synths in our showroom, for as long as you needed, to record your next project? Now you can, with SYNTAUR AFTER HOURS! For $50/hr, you can book our showroom any time after our 6:00 pm closing time, or any time on Sundays, to use anything and everything in it to your heart�s content! Bring your own recording gear, and create tracks in our synthesizer wonderland. We�ll have a Syntaur staffer on hand to help with any synthesizer needs, and we can even provide additional recording services if needed. Call or email for more info! |
