Unlike other pedals that tend to never stay put, this one has a rubber "gripper" bottom that keeps it in place. Some keyboards need a "normally open" switch pedal, others need a "normally closed" switch - which is why a Roland pedal works backwards on an Ensoniq keyboard, for instance. This new pedal has both! Just slide the switch on the back to whichever setting your keyboard needs. Solid metal construction.
	StudioLogic Damper-Style Foot Pedal (Part #VFP115) $34.95 The best selling pedal on the market! Strong enough to last in a working musician environment, with a mechanism that feels just like a real piano pedal. This pedal has a normally-closed polarity, to work with Edirol, Roland, Yamaha, and others. (For Casio, Ensoniq, Korg, Kurzweil, and Kawai, you will need the VFP110 pedal.)

Replacement Keys These plastic keys will replace broken ones on your keyboard. Most of these replacement keys are used, but in fine condition; some are new. There are several different types of keys used on the Edirol keyboards, so you will need to make sure you order the correct style (click on the link for your keyboard below). With the exception of the top note, all keys from octave to octave are identical, and all black keys within a given style are identical. In other words, a B note in the lowest octave uses the same key as a B note in any other octave. But the highest C note of a 61-note keyboard is different from the other C notes (see illustration below). If you do not know the note names, on the 61-note keyboard shown below, the white keys from the bottom (left side) up are: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, and then the sequence repeats.
