Jason "Jay-E" Epperson (Producer)
Armed with his Ensoniq ASR-10 and his custom Akai MPC4000 (pictured), Jason "Jay-E" Epperson slammed down the tracks for Grammy-nominee Nelly's multi-platinum Country Grammar and the Nellyville (nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album). He's also worked with St. Lunatics, Murphy Lee, Ali, Ms. Toi, and others, and did music for the films Bait and Training Day.

Jay's sonic toolbox includes our entire library for his Akai MPC, and practically every Syntaur disk and CD-ROM for his ASR-10.

Mike City Mike City (Producer, Songwriter, A&R)
With gold records by Sunshine Anderson (Soulife), Jimmy Cozier (J Records), and Bilal (Interscope), producer Mike City is hitting the charts hard. And with Brandy's platinum record Full Moon (Atlantic), he's hitting even harder. Mike has purchased every Syntaur Sample Set and every KeeMaster set for his Ensoniq ASR-10, which he says is one of the best sounding keyboards around for R&B production. As one of the country's hottest producers (recent projects include Dave Hollister, Nappy Roots, and Black Eyed Peas), and as Vice President for A&R at Soulife Recordings, he needs the hottest, most professional sounds around. We're glad he finds them at Syntaur.
Larry Dunn (Earth, Wind & Fire)
With two ASR-10's and two TS-10's, Larry Dunn has at his disposal the full Syntaur library of sampled sounds and TS patches. Larry's work has been heard by just about everyone on the planet, as a founding member and musical director of Earth, Wind & Fire. He penned such smash hits as Shining Star, Spirit, Be Ever Wonderful, Runnin', Sunshine, and many more, and has 20 Platinum and Gold records and 16 Grammy nominations to his credit.

Larry's keyboard work and production credits also include Stanley Turrentine, Morris Day, Level 42, Ronnie Laws, George Duke, Nathan East, Lenny White, Paulinho DaCosta, Ramsey Lewis, Dianne Reeves, Caldera, and tons of others. His current projects include producing the vocal group Reel Tight and his wife Luisa, and spinning tunes for radio and TV ads and films.

Jill Sobule Jill Sobule (Singer, Songwriter)
Her first album, Things Here Are Different (MCA), was produced by Todd Rundgren. Joe Jackson produced the next record, but MCA never released it. A move to Atlantic records resulted in her self-titled album with its MTV hit "I Kissed A Girl," followed by the acclaimed Happy Town. In 2000, her wonderful Pink Pearl album was released, this time on yet another label, Beyond Music (home to Motley Crue, Sammy Hagar, Yes, and the Go-Go's), and this was soon followed by I Never Learned to Swim.

Despite doing the record label shuffle, Jill's music has always been captivating, her voice always alluring. She has a penchant for tossing in unexpected sounds that spice up her tracks in a wonderful way. Many of these sounds emanate from her Ensoniq ASR-X, and we're always delighted whenever she calls Syntaur for more of these. Check out more at www.jillsobule.com.
