Loading the MPC Demo Sounds

This demo Program contains an assortment of samples from Syntaur's MPC sound library, combined into a single Program file (MPC_DEMO.PRG). Be sure and check out the variations in Banks B, C & D. You are free to use these sounds in your compositions. (Naturally, we hope you'll love them, and call to order more!)

After downloading the file syntaur-mpc.zip, you will need to extract the zipped files using WinZip or similar software. Then...

MPC2000, MPC2000xl, and MPC3000 users can make a floppy disk that will load directly into their samplers. Insert a blank HD (high-density) floppy disk into the drive of your PC. From the directory where the zipped files were extracted, double-click on the file makedemo.bat. The computer should begin writing the data to the floppy disk.

When the floppy drive light goes off, you can remove the disk from your PC, and load the program file MPC_DEMO.PRG directly into your MPC2000, MPC2000xl, or MPC3000.

If your MPC2000xl only has a Zip drive, you can copy MPC_DEMO.PRG and all of the .SND files to a PC-formatted Zip disk using a PC, and then load that Zip disk into your MPC.

MPC4000 users can transfer the files (MPC_DEMO.PRG and all of the .SND files) to their sampler by burning them to a CD-ROM.
